Laser Fiber Manufacturing, Integration and Consulting

Engineering and Innovation

With over 30 years of design and engineering experience, LP Surgical Fibers is uniquely positioned to provide product support regarding your application, delivery system design, prototyping and integration. From concept to finished product, we are experts in surgical fiber optic delivery systems and we work hard to build partnerships.

Product Development

Our R&D department is equipped with state of the art technology that includes laser welding stations, plasma fusing systems, automated manufacturing platforms, submicron polishers and high magnification inspection microscopes. We also maintain and have access to laser test systems with wavelength capabilities from visible to infrared and power levels up to 200 watts. These include gas, diode and solid state surgical laser systems so we can put our technology to the test.

Contract Manufacturing

LP maintains and operates a 3000 sq.ft. Class 8 clean room that meets ISO 14644 standards. Our highly trained in-house technicians perform complete assembly, testing and quality control procedures. We pride ourselves on being an FDA-registered and GMP-compliant manufacturing facility, as well as being ISO 13485 certified. Our products carry FDA 510(k) clearance and are CE marked, for both U.S. and international distribution. We also maintain other foreign medical device approvals.

OEM and Private Label Services

In addition to producing our own LP brand products, we also provide OEM manufacturing and private label services. We offer a range of connectors, fibers and tip configurations and currently have over 100 different fiber combinations in production.
